Virtual Bitting Support Sessions
Reduced-Rate Educational Bitting Guidance (Limited Time)
I am currently completing the final testing phase of my Master Bitting Certification. During this time, I am offering reduced-rate virtual bitting support sessions as part of my continued study, evaluation, and refinement of advanced bitting concepts.
These sessions are designed to provide thoughtful, educational guidance to help riders better understand how bit choice, anatomy, training stage, and rider input all work together — while remaining transparent about where I am in the certification process.
This is a learning-focused, horse-first approach, not a sales pitch for specific equipment and not a substitute for veterinary or dental care.
What These Sessions Are For
Reduced-rate bitting sessions may help with:
- Understanding how different mouthpieces function
- How tongue thickness, palate height, and bar shape influence comfort
- Evaluating whether your current bit makes sense for your horse’s stage of training
- Identifying signs of bit discomfort or evasion
- Understanding how rein use, curb straps, and balance affect communication
- Clarifying whether an issue may be training-related vs equipment-related
These sessions focus on education and informed decision-making, not quick fixes or harsher equipment.
Important Transparency Note
While I have over 20 years of riding instruction experience and extensive study in bitting theory and application, my Master Bitting Certification testing is still pending.
For this reason:
- Sessions are offered at a reduced rate
- Guidance is educational and conservative in nature
- Complex or medical concerns may be referred out when appropriate
This approach allows clients to receive quality support while maintaining honesty and professional integrity.
