Step 1: Anatomy of the Horse
Understanding your horse’s mouth—to how the tongue is tied into a horses back legs-is all an act of care and compassion. When we learn how things like dental health, eye sight, head posture and conformation, we give our horses a voice—and the chance to feel truly seen, heard, and respected.
Step 2: Get in Sync with Feel and Timing and Consistency
Get in sync with feel and timing with your horse by tuning into their subtle language—knowing when to ask, when to release, and how to be present. Build trust through a quiet, respectful conversation where every moment deepens the connection.
Step 3: Groundwork
Where trust, communication, and understanding are built from the ground up. When we teach cues on the ground with clarity and compassion, they naturally carry into the saddle, creating a smooth, confident transition and a partnership that feels honest and effortless.
Step 4: Tack 101
Choosing the right bit is about honoring your horse’s growth and building trust. Saddle fit can be like wearing a shoe, a bad fit doesn’t feel good, but a great fit will allow your horse to be comfortable all day. By understanding how each part affects feel and pressure, we can guide our horses with respect, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and connected.
Step 5: Build relaxation in your horse
A calm horse can listen, learn, and finally trust. When they feel safe with you, their mind softens, their body follows, and true connection begins
Step 6: Riding
Uniting all of the steps: Feel, timing, consistent cues, solid groundwork, and the right tack, will give you and your horse the clarity and confidence needed to succeed under saddle to be a journey built on trust, understanding, and ease.
1:1 Virtual Lessons (EXTRA FEE***)
Option to add virtual lessons to be able to go over YOUR training videos, and I’ll offer in-depth guidance on ways you can improve–so you never feel alone, or keep making the same mistakes… Moving you toward FINALLY having a safe, happy, fully rehabilitated rescue.
