Hi, I'm Jamie.I've spent more than 20 years teaching, training, riding, studying horses, and continuing to expand my own understanding of horsemanship.
Thoughtful Horsemanship isn't about convincing you that there's only one correct way to train a horse. Quite the opposite.
I believe good horsemanship comes from understanding the individual horse, developing feel and timing, recognizing when something isn't working, and being willing to adjust.
My goal is to help horse owners and riders become more confident in their own knowledge and abilities — so instead of constantly wondering, "What am I supposed to do?" you can begin asking, "What is my horse telling me, and how should I respond?"
