Welcome!
Offering training and lessons in Ryan, Oklahoma!
A little about me....
I grew up on a dairy farm, but as a kid my parents always had horses. I became that "horse crazy" girl that most girls tend to go through, but I never grew out of the phase. As a kid, I competed on my pony at the 4-H and Little Britches Rodeo level and moved up to stock horses to continue competing while adding High School Rodeo and local shows in the mix. Along the way I discovered that training my horses was very interesting and thus I knew I wanted to become a trainer.
After high school I attended Weatherford College and added to my experience with an Equine management and reproduction degree. While in the summer I apprenticed with Buster McLaury traveling the country. I was determined to soak up any information that I could about horses and training. After graduating I continued to be active in 4-H as a leader and continued with giving lessons and training several horses. I continued with my education at UW River Falls with my bachelors degree in Animal Science. I apprenticed with Scott McCutcheon Reining horses, learning more about the industry, before working for Wendye Gardiner in Aubrey, TX. I have become specialized in colt staring and problem horses.
I offer colt staring, problem horse issues, legging up, tuning up, and basics of barrel pattern training. I also do lessons for beginners through intermediate levels. As being in the horse business, I am honest about the horse and want you to find the right horse for you. I don't want you to take home a lemon of a horse that you won't enjoy, so I will offer a guarantee on the horse just to be sure you have gotten what you want.
I will be updating the site regularly, so please stop by regularly and check to see what's new. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to help you in any way I can. Happy reading and riding.
